Successful Resolution in Claim of Roadway Negligence

Porter Scott achieved a favorable resolution for its client in a negligence action alleging that gravel on the roadway caused the plaintiff to lose control of his motorcycle. After filing a Motion for Summary Judgment, the plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the case rather than opposing the motion.  Great work by one of the firm’s law clerks working closely with shareholder David Melton in drafting the MSJ. Strong teamwork and early motion practice led to an efficient and decisive outcome for our client.
