Porter Scott Obtains Summary Judgment on Behalf of the City of Lincoln in Bicycle Accident Case
Porter Scott successfully defended the City of Lincoln in a dangerous condition of public property action alleging that a bicyclist crashed due to a pothole in the City’s roadway. The Court granted the City’s Motion for Summary Judgment, finding Plaintiff’s claims were barred by the doctrine of Primary Assumption of Risk.
Congratulations to Porter Scott's public entity litigation team on this case, led by Shareholders William Camy and Jennifer Thompson. Another good result for Will and Jenn on behalf of a local public entity!
