Defense Verdict at Trial in a Slip and Fall Case

David Melton and Michael Christensen obtained a defense verdict from a jury this week on behalf of a national retailer on a slip and fall case.  The jury found the retailer was not negligent in failing to warn plaintiff that the ground in the outside open-air garden center was wet from rain water.
