Joseph Evans Attwell II

In his free time, Joseph enjoys playing a variety of tabletop games, watching films, and, on rare occasions, going sailing.

Joseph was born in Monterey, California. He earned his law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Merced and Sutter County District Attorney’s Offices, handling a broad range of misdemeanor and felony matters with a particular focus on juvenile law prosecutions. In that role he developed strong working relationships with law enforcement and other public entities, enhancing his ability to navigate police procedure and secure convictions or juvenile adjudications. Joseph joined Porter Scott in June 2026, bringing his prosecutorial experience and public‑entity expertise to the firm.
