Outside of the office, Alan enjoys attending sporting events, watching movies, exploring Sacramento’s restaurant scene, and spending time with his wife and their two cats.

A Bay Area native, Alan Gonzalez relocated to the Greater Sacramento area to begin his legal career. Alan joined Porter Scott as a summer law clerk following his first year of law school and continues with the firm as an Associate Attorney. His practice focuses on insurance defense and related civil litigation matters. Alan approaches his work with an emphasis on professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness to client needs, and is committed to providing thoughtful legal analysis and clear written advocacy.
Alan is a proud “Double Aggie,” having earned both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis. During law school, he participated in Moot Court and served in a leadership role with the Business Law Association and Latinx Law Student Association. -
