Porter Scott Successful Defense of County of Tuolumne in Environmental Law Case

Associate Alison Southard successfully defended the County of Tuolumne in a lawsuit alleging the County did not adequately enforce environmental laws by allegedly failing to inspect, shut down, and/or remediate property on which a drycleaning business previously operated. The Court sustained the County’s Demurrer without leave to amend, holding Plaintiffs failed to articulate any mandatory duties allegedly owed or breached by the County. Congratulations Alison!
