Les joined Porter Scott after working in the government arena as Legal & Regulatory Affairs Counsel for California New Car Dealers Association. Through this work, he developed a strong working knowledge of numerous areas of law, providing guidance and compliance landscape updates to members of the automotive industry. While in law school, Les served as Executive Chair of the Moot Court Team, Student Liaison to SacLegal, and writer for the legislative arm of the McGeorge Law Review, Greensheets. While externing for Honorable Troy L. Nunley, Les’s love for litigation was cemented. Prior to law school, Les worked in the trades, including construction, automotive, and electrical. It is through those experiences that he developed a strong understanding of how people work and what motivates them. His years of practical background coupled with his legal education and training enable Les to effectively anticipate the needs of his clients and communicate clearly, concisely, and empathetically.
