Melisa Recendez

Prior to working at Porter Scott, Melisa had several years of experience working in tax administration helping taxpayers (in English and Spanish) navigate the complex tax laws of California. This experience taught her valuable skills that she utilizes in her current practice, including problem solving, analysis of complex legal issues, and persuasive legal writing.

Like the scales of justice, Melisa likes to balance her hard work with spending time in the outdoors hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and playing golf. In addition to her love of the outdoors, she enjoys creating art in her free time.
