MaryJo Smart

As a former Guardian ad Litem and the youngest of four siblings, albeit the most protective, MaryJo has always found herself zealously advocating for others. This tenacity and dedication to fight for what she believes in translates well to the dynamic practice of civil litigation, and MaryJo brings this strong-willed mentality to each of her cases.

A graduate, with great distinction, from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and a member of the Order of the Coif, MaryJo focuses her practice on litigating and resolving a broad array of legal disputes arising in the business context as well as the areas of professional liability and construction defect. Out of the office, MaryJo spends her time with her six nieces and nephews, taking advantage of the wonders of Lake Tahoe, and travelling.
