David P.E. Burkett

Shareholder

As a five-time finisher of the Markleeville Death Ride, David is an endurance bicyclist who loves the challenge of an all-day ride in the beautiful terrain surrounding Sacramento. He approaches litigation with the same determination to keep going forward to achieve the goals of his clients.

David’s practice focuses on representing public entities and private businesses in employment and civil rights disputes. He particularly enjoys assessing the facts of a legal dispute and collaborating with his clients to determine what resolution is best for them. Once the strategy is set, David strives to be an aggressive and efficient litigator who looks for opportunities to end legal disputes. He works with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and staff to provide that service to his clients. Their ultimate goal is to help the client be best positioned to avoid claims and to resolve those that end up in litigation.
