A Sacramento native and 2015 graduate, cum laude, of Georgetown University Law Center, Jeff focuses his practice on litigating and resolving disputes arising in the business context, including claims for breach of contract, partnership/joint venture disputes, trade secret misappropriation claims, business torts, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and shareholder issues. Whether a “bet-the-company” case or a more discrete matter, Jeff understands the necessity of soundly assessing the merits of a dispute and formulating a litigation strategy that aligns with the legal and business objectives of his clients.
Jeff also has significant employment law experience, ranging from litigating single-plaintiff suits for discrimination to resolving wage-and-hour class actions involving hundreds or thousands of employees.
Prior to joining Porter Scott, Jeff worked for a regional law firm representing clients in the construction industry, with a special emphasis on the defense of homebuilders in residential construction defect actions.
