Porter Scott Resolves Premises Liability Claim for Family-Owned Hardware Store
In November, our team successfully resolved a negligence and premises liability matter on behalf of a family-owned hardware store involving an alleged trip-and-fall over a purported trivial defect. After filing a Motion for Summary Judgment, the case resolved prior to the hearing for $15,000.
The matter was handled through the strong collaboration of Partner David Melton and Associate Haley Loheit, with valuable contributions from Partner David Norton and Law Clerks Raul Medina and Ainsley Muhleman. A focused defense strategy and targeted motion practice were instrumental in achieving this favorable result.
