Nancy Sheehan | 2009 President of The Sacramento Valley Chapter of ABOTA
Congratulations to our partner Nancy J. Sheehan who will assume the office of President of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates on January 24, 2009. Nancy has been a member of ABOTA since 1999 and has served as a Chapter officer and Board Member for Cal-ABOTA over the past four years. Nancy is only the second woman to serve as the President of the Chapter since its inception in 1972. ABOTA is a nation-wide organization dedicated to the preservation of the right to jury trial in civil cases, and civility and professionalism in the practice of law. In order to be eligible for admission, attorneys must have tried a minimum of twenty civil cases to verdict and must demonstrate the highest standards of civility. Porter Scott has more members of ABOTA than any other law firm in Sacramento.
