Porter Scott Attorney Laura Marabito is Quoted in Sacramento News & Review Article on ADA Compliance
Laura Marabito was quoted in a December 9, 2010 Sacramento News and Review article entitled: “A Sacramentan with a History of Targeting Businesses for ADA Violations Strikes Again.” This article discusses how multiple East Sacramento business entities are being sued by George Louie for alleged violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Commenting on the ADA requirements in California, Ms. Marabito was quoted as saying that “It is almost impossible to get 100 percent legal compliance.” She goes on to recommend that businesses take advantage of a California program, the Voluntary Certified Specialist program, to minimize settlement amounts in ADA related lawsuits.
