Unity Bar of Sacramento Recognition
On October 5, 2007, the Unity Bar of Sacramento recognized Porter Scott law firm for its strides in promoting diversity within the legal profession. Porter Scott received the Unity 2007 Award for its participation in the Sacramento County Bar Association (SCBA) Summer Fellowship Program. In this program the SCBA works with Sacramento's largest law firms, McGeorge School of Law and the UC Davis King Hall School of Law, to provide minority and disadvantaged first-year law students the opportunity to gain hands on legal experience and a competitive edge in the legal labor market. Porter Scott looks forward to its continued involvement in the fellowship program.
