Porter Scott Receives Community Service Award
Women Lawyers of Sacramento named Porter Scott as the recipient of its 2010 Community Service Award at the Unity Bar Dinner held on October 28, 2010. Our firm was selected for its involvement in numerous charitable and non-profit organizations in the Sacramento area, as well as its supportive attitude towards our employees who are balancing a career with parenthood. The Unity Bar is an association of local bar organizations including Women Lawyers of Sacramento, Asian/Pacific Bar Association of Sacramento, Sacramento Lawyers for the Equality of Gays and Lesbians, La Raza Lawyers Association of Sacramento, Wiley Manuel Bar Association, and the South Asian Bar Association of Sacramento. Each member organization gave an award to a person or business who is making a difference in our community. Porter Scott is very honored to be included among them.
