Jeff White: Jeff is a third year law student at McGeorge and graduated from CSUS, cum laude, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He has also had extensive experience at the Department of Justice as a student assistant and legal intern.
Leslie Ramos: Leslie graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a bachelor of arts, dual degree, in sociology and women’s studies. She has just finished her 2nd year as a law student at McGeorge. Leslie clerked last summer for Palmer Kazanjian Wohl Perkins and Cuneo, Black, Ward & Missler. Leslie recently published an article in the McGeorge Law review entitled, “Chapter 202: California Provides Further Protection for Seniors Contemplating Reverse Mortgage Loans.”
Alacoque (Ali) Hinga: Ali joins us having just completed her second year at UC Davis School of Law. Ali will be working primarily with the healthcare practice group. She graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor of arts degree in political science, magna cum laude. Her most recent experience was a student research assistant at the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic as well as participating in many volunteer organizations. She also has been a member of the USD Women’s Crew Team, USD Women’s Club Volleyball Team, Five-Time Intramural Sports Champion and a California Triathlon Competitor.
Harjot Lasher: Harjot has just completed his second year at McGeorge. He is a graduate of California State University Stanislaus with a double major, bachelor of science degree in business administration and political science, summa cum laude. He has prior experience as a certified law student, clinical intern at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office.
Noah Bean: Noah comes to Porter Scott from UC Davis after his second year of law school. He graduated cum laude from the Clark Honors College of the University or Oregon with a bachelor of arts degree in political science and a bachelor of science degree in business administration. His prior experience was as a legal intern at the California Office of the Attorney General, in the Corporate Responsibility (Securities) Section and the Department of Corporations, Enforcement Division. Prior to entering law school, Noah worked at Heller Ehrman as a litigation paralegal on trademark and anti-trust matters.
Sophia Kwan: Sophia has just completed her second year at McGeorge and previously graduated with a bachelor of science degree in managerial economics and a master of science degree in agricultural and resource economics from UC Davis. Sophia has recently been a legal intern at the Office of the Attorney General, Tort and Condemnation Unit.
Karen Kim: Karen graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Northwestern University in 1999. Thereafter, she worked for three years as a city hall and politics reporter in the community news division for the Los Angeles Times . She also worked as the press secretary for former California State Assembly Majority Leader Dario Frommer for three years before heading to law school in 2006. Karen comes to us from the Sacramento County Bar Association Diversity Fellowship Program. She is currently a second year law student at UC Davis.
