Mr. Corr grew up in Sacramento and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992. He then attended law school at the University of San Diego, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 1997. After working briefly for the District Attorney's office in San Diego, Jonathan joined Porter Scott in 1998. He became a shareholder in January of 2005.

Jonathan's litigation practice includes representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and residential care facilities in medical malpractice, elder abuse and a variety of other litigation areas. He has represented clients in a variety of forums, including Superior Courts and the Court of Appeals.

Dilley v. Sutter [Elder Abuse]
Pitner v. Sutter Health [Medical Malpractice]


Successfully defended hospital and two individually named nurses against allegations of Elder Abuse resulting in dismissal of claims against the clients.

Successfully resolved claims of Elder Abuse, Negligence and Wrongful Death against nursing home resulting in successful Summary Adjudication of Elder Abuse Claims dismissal of remaining claims without further cost to client. 

Successfully negotiated dismissal, without payment by client, of claims of assault by co-worker at nursing home.
