After receiving a B.A. in Communications from California State University at Fullerton, David pursued his J.D. at Western State University College of Law. During law school he received the American Jurisprudence Award for Legal Writing, Remedies, and Constitutional Law and made the Distinguished Honor Roll. He joined Porter Scott in September 1995 and was voted a shareholder in November of 2001. Over the last 15 years, David’s practice has focused on the areas of personal injury, products liability, premises liability, pharmacy malpractice, civil rights, employment, and business litigation. He has tried Superior Court cases in the counties of Butte, El Dorado, Fresno, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Siskiyou, Stanislaus, Sutter and Yuba along with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He has handled appellate cases in the California Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also serves as a Judge Pro Tem, arbitrator, and mediator.
